Stacy Fening

Stacy Fening joined the Technology Transfer Office at CWRU as a licensing associate in life sciences in 2007. She came to our office from CWRU’s Department of Pathology, where she investigated applied clinical virology. Before relocating to Cleveland in 2005, Dr. Fening worked as a staff scientist in Research and Product Development at Diagnostic Hybrids, Inc. in Athens, Ohio, focusing on research and product development for the clinical diagnostic virology market.
Stacy holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Ohio University; her research concentration was cell and molecular developmental neurobiology. She also received her M.B.A. from Ohio University and B.A. in Biology from Hiram College.
