TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER

Daniel Pendergast joined the TTO in 2003. In addition to his licensing role, Daniel also has experience with federal government compliance issues surrounding industrial sponsored research and grant-funded inventions as well as in-depth experience with United States Patent and Trademark Office prosecution protocols and procedures.

Daniel holds a B.S.E. and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, both from CWRU. His research focus during his graduate career was in mechatronics and autonomous robotics, and he served on the engineering design team for CWRU's entry to the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge. He is a member of the Association of University Technology Managers and the Licensing Executives Society.
